Columbines (Genus Aquilegia) are a colorful, cold-hardy perennial that grows easily in many regions of the United States. I live in the desert of the western US and grow it with ease. It is a low-water flower so it helps you save money on watering expenses.
One little seed goes a long way! These seeds grow into tall flowering plants (2-3 feet tall). This variety is covered every year with gorgeous speckled burgundy/magenta and yellow blossoms from June through September. Bees absolutely love them and they're not prone to pests; requires no pest management in most regions. No need to trim it back each year - it's a pretty easy flower to grow and this color combination always lands me compliments!
I've been growing this variety (from seed and in the yard) for several years. This packet of seeds will be enough to cover your yard in gorgeous columbines!
This purchase is for 30 magenta/yellow Columbine seeds.
